The Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923

Applicability :

To all persons covered under definition of workmen u/s S.2(1)(n).

Act applies to establishments in Maharashtra by virtue of Sec.38-A of Bombay Shops & Establishment Act, 1948

Penalties

Failure to:

• Maintain notice book as per S.10(3)
• Send statement to Commissioner as per
• S.19(I) - Fine upto Rs 5000.00
• Make returns as per S.16
